Different styles of polishing Emeralds can be cut into a variety of styles. Some of the prominent styles are cuts, cabochons, beads, drops, carvings, tumbled beads, etc.

While manufacturing Emeralds, various factors such as the overall shape and quality of the rough stone are analyzed in order to determine what is the best style that can be crafted out of it. The aim is to avoid wastage and to utilize the maximum amount of rough stone while eliminating the maximum number of inclusions.
