The Second Edition of India Rough Gemstones Sourcing Show Kick Starts At Jaipur on 13th March 2021
The India Rough Gemstones Sourcing Show 2021(IRGSS 2021) was inaugurated by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council, India's apex body for the gem and jewellery industry.
The show will take place in Jaipur from March 13th to April 19th, 2021.
Rough Emerald supplier from Zambia will be present at IRGSS 2021.
Travel restrictions caused by the pandemic hampered production in the gemstone sector, as the colored gemstone industry is heavily reliant on imported raw materials. The show's main goal is to provide Indian gemstone manufacturers with direct access to rough gemstones without having to travel to various mining nations.
The second edition of IRGSS is also being organized, with all of the required safety guidelines laid out by the Central Government's health departments and state government's for COVID-19, such as social distancing, disinfection, and the mandatory wearing of masks.
Due to the lack of gemstone mines in India, obtaining a consistent and continuous supply of roughs for the Indian gem cutting and polishing industry has always been a challenge.
Gemstone manufacturers will be able to network and establish relationships with miners from all over the world at shows like the IRGSS. As a result, they would be able to maintain a steady supply of roughs.
